Exnova review: what Indian traders get in 2026
Exnova accepts Indian traders with a $10 minimum deposit and advertises payouts up to 92%, but the platform holds no licence we could find in any register we read. Before you fund an account, the RBI Alert List position and the withdrawal complaints on record matter more than the payout figure.
Figures checked 19.10.2026Exnova's trading terms for Indian users
Exnova sets its minimum deposit at $10 and its minimum trade at $1, which puts it in line with most fixed-time contract platforms that target Indian users. The advertised maximum payout is 92%, meaning the platform keeps at least 8% of the contract value on a winning trade before any other costs apply. These figures were checked on 19.10.2026 and are due for review on 18.11.2026.
For an Indian trader, the $10 entry point is low enough to test the platform without committing large sums. The $1 minimum trade means you can spread a small deposit across several contracts rather than putting it all into one position. That said, a low minimum is not a reason to deposit; it is only a measure of how quickly you can start.
The platform runs on Android, iOS and the web through its own Exnova platform. There is no MetaTrader integration, so anyone coming from MT4 or MT5 will need to learn a different interface. The web version removes the need to install anything, which some Indian users prefer when they are still deciding whether the platform is worth keeping on their phone.
Licensing and the RBI Alert List
Deriv holds licences on record from the MFSA (70156), Labuan FSA (MB/18/0024) and VFSC (company No. 14556). Pocket Option is registered under MISA (Mwali) T2022086, while IQ Option holds CySEC 247/14 for the EEA. Olymp Trade records a VFSC company number and Financial Commission membership, Binomo is a Financial Commission Category A member, and Expert Option is also a Financial Commission member.
Quotex and BinaryCent, like Exnova, have no licence found in any register we read. BinaryCent additionally carries warnings from the VFSC, CFTC, AMF and FMA New Zealand. Pocket Option has warnings on record from the FCA, CONSOB and CFTC.
For India specifically, the Reserve Bank of India does not license offshore forex platforms or fixed-time contracts. The RBI Alert List, updated in November 2025, names 95 entities not authorised to deal in foreign exchange under FEMA or to operate an electronic trading platform. The RBI states the list is not exhaustive and that a resident trading outside permitted purposes or on an unauthorised platform is liable under FEMA.
Deposits and withdrawals from India
Indian users typically fund accounts through UPI, usually via a payment partner rather than the platform itself. Bank transfer via IMPS or NEFT works from any Indian bank, and Visa and Mastercard are accepted subject to your bank's international transaction limit. USDT, usually on TRC-20, is the route traders fall back on when a card is declined.
Exnova's regulator warnings on record include withdrawal complaints and no regulator. That does not mean every withdrawal fails, but it does mean the pattern we hold is not clean. Before depositing, check what the platform states about withdrawal processing times and whether your chosen payment route can receive funds back the same way it sent them.
For context, Stockity sets a $10 minimum deposit and a $1 minimum trade with a 90% payout ceiling. Deriv starts at $5 with a $0.35 minimum trade and up to 100% payout. Pocket Option and Quotex both start at $5 and $10 respectively, with payouts up to 92% and 98%. The deposit size is rarely the deciding factor; the route back out is.
How Exnova compares with other platforms in India
On raw numbers, Exnova sits in the middle of the pack. Its 92% payout ceiling matches Pocket Option and BinaryCent, trails Quotex at 98% and IQ Option and Olymp Trade at 95%, and beats Stockity and Binomo at 90%. Deriv's 100% ceiling is the highest we hold on record.
What separates Exnova from the better-documented names is the licensing picture. Deriv, IQ Option, Olymp Trade, Binomo and Expert Option all have at least one licence or membership on record. Quotex and BinaryCent share Exnova's empty register result, but BinaryCent carries four regulator warnings, which is a heavier file than Exnova's two.
For an Indian trader weighing platforms, the practical question is whether the payout difference justifies the regulatory gap. A 6% payout advantage over Stockity means little if the withdrawal path is uncertain. The RBI's position on offshore fixed-time contracts applies to every platform in this comparison, not just Exnova.
What to check before you trade with Exnova
Start with the RBI Alert List itself. The November 2025 update names 95 entities, and the RBI is explicit that the list is not exhaustive. If Exnova appears on it, or if you cannot confirm authorisation under FEMA, the legal exposure sits with you as the resident trader, not with the platform.
Second, verify the payment route in both directions. UPI deposits through a payment partner may not return the same way, and a card deposit can be blocked by your bank's international transaction limit without warning. USDT on TRC-20 is common when cards fail, but it adds a conversion step and its own transfer risk.
Third, keep records. The Income Tax Department treats trading income as taxable, and the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal is the route for reporting fraud or unauthorised transactions. If a platform refuses a withdrawal, documentation matters more than a support chat log.
- Check the RBI Alert List before depositing
- Confirm the withdrawal route works in reverse
- Keep deposit and trade records for tax purposes
- Report problems to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal
